Located on the perimeter or inside a building, it is specially marked to distinguish it from a standard door. The emergency exit door is marked on the emergency and evacuation plans in the building. Although freely manoeuvrable, the emergency exit door can be locked under certain conditions, dictated by the fire and panic safety regulations of 25 June 1980 in establishments open to the public (ERP).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3015 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/alligator-sas.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/DAS-Lock-300x189.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"407\" height=\"256\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alligator-sas.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/DAS-Lock-300x189.png 300w, https:\/\/alligator-sas.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/DAS-Lock.png 605w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 407px) 100vw, 407px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Operated safety devices (DAS) unlocking<\/h3>\n<p>The purpose of locking emergency exits with operated safety devices (DAS) is to prevent access from the outside and to discourage misuse in the direction of exit. However, it is essential to be able to unlock these exits quickly and safely.
