Standard NF EN 13 637
Electrically controlled closing systems for use on escape routes
Initiated in the early 2000s, the NF EN 13 637 standard was published in September 2015 and appeared in the Official Journal of the European Union in 2016.
This standard has been published, but is not applied in France, in favor of NFS 61 937-13, which has been renewed and improved, based on the previous standards, NFS 61 937-1 (from 2003) and NFS 61 937 (from 1990).
Published in December 2022, and applicable from summer 2024, this NFS 61 937-13 standard will be taken into account in the design of all new products.
Alligator is positioning itself as a major player, actively working on the development of new products in compliance with the NF EN 13637 standard for the European market (excluding France).
Products covered by standard NF EN 13637 are intended for use on doors in escape routes, whether fire-resistant or not.
