• AUTONOMOUS MANAGEMENT

Autonomous management of emergency exits

An emergency exit is used to evacuate people in the event of a disaster. Located on the perimeter or inside a building, it is specially marked to distinguish it from a standard door. The emergency exit door is marked on the emergency and evacuation plans in the building. Although freely manoeuvrable, the emergency exit door can be locked under certain conditions, dictated by the fire and panic safety regulations of 25 June 1980 in establishments open to the public (ERP).

Operated safety devices (DAS) unlocking

The purpose of locking emergency exits with operated safety devices (DAS) is to prevent access from the outside and to discourage misuse in the direction of exit. However, it is essential to be able to unlock these exits quickly and safely. For this reason, a green manual release placed locally near the exit in question must be fitted to enable the DAS to be unlocked immediately.
