Centralised Emergency Exit Management
To prevent unintentional exits through the emergency exits and the associated risks of theft and malicious damage, while complying with fire safety regulations, the doors are kept locked by operated safety devices (DAS). These are managed from the UGCIS (Centralised Emergency Exit Management Unit) via the DDO (Opening Request Device ) located near each equipped exit. This makes it possible to control exit requests via the exits by removing any doubt before the door is released.
Emergency unlocking
There are 3 possibilities for emergency unlocking of these exits :
– by activating the manual emergency command for the zone concerned from the UGCIS,
– by automatically activating all the exits in the zone concerned, via the upstream Fire Safety System (SSI),
– by local action on the DDO, located near the exit in question, which unlocks the DAS after a time delay.
